Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, the Hon Richard Marles MP, visited Norship to tour its new state-of-the-art facilities and acknowledge the company’s vital work supporting the Royal Australian Navy and Pacific Nations.
Norship welcomed the Hon Richard Marles MP, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence to site, to see, first hand, the brand new state of the art facilities and the work Norship is doing for both Navy and Pacific Nations. The Minister said; “One of the great things about Cairns is the strategic significance of this part of the world to our nation’s security, and that manifests in a lot of the ways. I want you (Norship team) to know that the work you do here for Navy and for the Pacific Nations is of strategic importance. What you do here really matters, and I want to thank you for that.”
