Our Workforce
- Certified Machinists, Fitter &Turners, Shipwrights, Coating specialists, Electronics and Electrical technicians, Fabricators, boilermakers.
- Engineers/Naval Architects and technical writers (RINA, EA and RPEQ, RCM, DCACAS, FRACAS, RCA, configuration management)
- Strong quality assurance, customer service and corporate services team (QA, GRC, HSES, HR, BD and commercial & chartered accountant)
- Logistics, procurement and warehouse management team
Apprenticeship Program
Our apprenticeship program is a cornerstone of our workforce development. Since launching the program in 2018, the program has grown to include over 18% of our trade workforce involving Junior, Adult and Trade Assistants who show potential and want to become fully qualified in a trade.
Defence Partnerships
Through our Deed of secondment with the Department of Defence, Navy personnel join one of our trade teams for a 3-month work experience, gaining hands on experience in shipyard practices. Secondments strengthen collaboration and deepen mutual understanding across different industries.
Registered Training Organisations
Norship partners with leading RTOs to provide high quality training and accreditation. Our team holds national and international recognised certifications from trade technicians to naval architects. Our team builds expertise that sets industry benchmarks.
